GARDEN OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER

The Garden Oaks Community Center is the centerpiece of the Alpha Community Foundation of Oklahoma’s commitment to revitalizing Northeast Oklahoma City. Located at 3401 NE 16th Street, the center transforms a once-vacant public school into a vibrant community hub focused on education, wellness, civic engagement, and service.

Since 2021, we’ve raised over $1.5 million to complete Phase I of renovations. Today, a growing range of programs is already making an impact, offering after-school tutoring, mentoring, youth and senior wellness initiatives, STEM camps, and more.

As we begin Phase II, the Garden Oaks Community Center is evolving into a fully equipped multipurpose facility. With the support of community partners and donors, we’re preparing to launch remote learning labs, technical certification programs, and a medical wellness room for health screenings and chronic disease management.

The expansion will also include classroom space, workforce development training, youth activity rooms, and larger community areas for events, workshops, and local collaborations.

Rooted in the heart of Northeast Oklahoma City, the Garden Oaks Community Center is a hub for opportunity, wellness, and learning. In a resilient community facing economic challenges, the center serves as a beacon that fosters growth, connection, and lasting impact for all who walk through its doors.

Through strategic partnerships, community-driven initiatives, and your continued support, we’re building more than a facility. We’re building a future.
